Two weeks ago when I fill in the form for leave of absent, I put in 3 months as I have been advised this is the minimum period for wound to heal at least externally.
On the day of my admission, I received a call from Boss 'N', questioning me what kind of special operation I will be undergoing that I would need 3 months leave of absent as he expected 3 days instead of 3 months. I was a bit angry to that statement as I have explained my situation to him.
On the day of my op, Boss 'K' call up and all he said was, "Take care & rest!"
After 2 days of my op, while I was still lying on the bed, Boss 'N' & 'W' came for visit, one of them actually told me that this kind of op don't need 3 months rest, usually 1 month can heal and back to work for good. At that moment, I suspected their intention of visit were not just plain visit, but actually they are trying to make sure I actually not lying about my sickness. A very disappointed move as they are thinking about their money more than the importance of health of their employee.
I'm telling myself, it is not too hard to tell who has more humanity and I know what I should do then.
