MCMC published the following criteria in its website:
- Only applies to Malaysian citizens from the ages of 21-30;
- Monthly income of RM3,000 and below;
- Smartphone models below the price of RM500;
- Each youth is only entitled to purchase one smartphone;

RM200 rebate only for smartphones below RM500
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has revealed that the RM200 smartphone rebate announced in Budget 2013 is only for smartphones priced below RM500.
MCMC published the following criteria in its website:
- Only applies to Malaysian citizens from the ages of 21-30;
- Monthly income of RM3,000 and below;
- Smartphone models below the price of RM500;
- Each youth is only entitled to purchase one smartphone;
- Customers can either use their existing mobile broadband or apply for new packages;
According to the notice published yesterday, the rebate programme under the National Broadband Initiative (NBI) has been allocated a sum of RM300 million by the government which will benefit 1.5 million youths.
A blue stamp was visible at the right corner of the website that read Janji Ditepati, Mulai 1 Januari 2013, Budget 2013 (Promises Fulfilled from Jan 1, 2013, Budget 2013).
However, Malaysiakini found that the website has been inaccessible since this morning.
Criteria finalised
When contacted by Malaysiakini, MCMC compliance department assistant director Fairul Rizal confirmed that the criteria for the smartphone rebate displayed in their website have been finalised.
Fairul explained that the website has been taken down since today as some of its designs have to be modified.
“There are some adjustments that need to be made to the advertorial mock-up in the website… We need to remove the blue stamp that says ‘Janji Ditepati, Mulai 1 Januari 2013, Budget 2013′ as the management does not agree with the display of it on the website,” added Fairul, who is also a committee member of the Youth Communications Package that is responsible of the rebate implementation.
However, when asked on RM500 ceiling price placed on the rebate, Fairul refused to comment.
Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak on Sept 28 under Budget 2013, announced a rebate of RM200 for the purchase of one 3G smartphone for youths aged 21 to 30, with a monthly income of RM3,000 and below or without monthly income, from authorised dealers under the Youth Communications Package.

Ministry to work with industry to minimise unhealthy food ads
Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers' (FMM) Food Manufacturing Group had volunteered to implement guidelines on limiting children's marketing exposure to foodstuff with little or no nutritional value.
“They have agreed to self-regulate. This is an industry pledge and they will work with advertising associations to make sure products that do not meet the criteria of nutritional value are not marketed to children aged 12 and below,” he said after chairing the 11th National Food Safety and Nutrition Council here yesterday.
The new guidelines were adopted from the global best practices outlined by the International Food and Beverage Alliance (IFBA), which promotes self-regulation among industry players by way of a formal pledge.
The Malaysian pledge requires only products that meet specific nutrition criteria to be advertised to children, on TV or other media.
The pledge also specifies that companies should not advertise food and drinks that contain high sugar, salt or fat content on TV, where 35% of its captive audience is made up of children.
Companies that take up the pledge also cannot promote products in primary schools, unless requested or agreed to by the school administration for educational or informative purposes.
Liow pointed out that the pledge was significant as it represented a step forward in the bid to “trim the fat” and deal with the growing rate of NCDs, such as diabetes and heart disease.
“As we can see from the statistics on such diseases, the figures are going up every year. We cannot wait... we cannot just continue to discuss the issue and not act. We have to fight obesity now,” he stressed.
FMM Food Group chairman Mohd Shah Hashim said the body was currently working out the mechanism to implement the pledge, which would require a clear understanding between food manufacturers and advertising/media agencies on what could and could not be promoted to children.
“We are targeting to implement this by the first quarter of next year, in collaboration with the Health Ministry.
“This covers all levels of media. Currently, the pledge applies to FMM members but in time we will have to bring the other industry players on board,” he said.

Which means, there won't be any recycling work at all right?? That's why you need to built a 'TEMPORARY" WASTE STORAGE in Perak to store your waste.
Yeah right, Lynas also invited PUBLIC (eerrr....or just a few people from the cronies group???) to touch the raw material with bare hands to prove that it is SAFE....please lar... that guy should use the WASTE as body mask powder for himself, then probably the people of Bolehland would give you a chance lar...diu

Civil Servant : Right to VOTE
5th December 2012 on Free MalaysiaKini
The article said that due to attend PR ceramah, a teacher was sacked and then she received a form to join the one and only party. And her senator 'ADVICE' her that as civil servant, she has no right to choose who she wanted to join.
Hmmm....this is no news at all as I have friends who works as civil servant too, according to them, there is a serial number on their voting form, so that government will know who they are voting for, especially teachers' vote. And the soldiers/police force, they don't vote at all as the government will 'engaged' a representative to 'X' on behalf......
As all this stories are heard only, i wanna ask....Dear all civil servants, is this true????

What Do We Care if AES Don't Have Commission??
Sin Chew Jit Poh, 2/12/2012 : The headline read,
"IF THE SAMAN NOT PAID, AES CONTRACTOR WIL NOT GET COMMISSION. TRANSPORT MINISTER : PROFIT NOT MORE THAN 17%"
Errr....Mr Minister, a few question ask ---->
1) what is that to do with the people that AES don't get their commission??? Huh???
2) Why would the people need to share their salary and give to AES???
3) 17% is much too high a profit, you go ask around the business/marketing man, nowadays if you can get 5% you gotta bersyukur oredi lar....sumore 17%
4) Traffic is under JPJ, why the government can't do it themselves?? If everything need to sub to private company, is that means the government is TOTALLY USELESS??

After Bersih - Ban of Comic
Today NST, 15/07/2011.... (I have to clarify here, I don't buy newspaper, all sources of newspaper are from my office, if my management buy Star, then the story will be from Star..LOL)
The Home Minister had banned 3 books to preserve public orders. The 3 books will be:-
1) 1 Funny Malaysia
2) Perak Darul Kartun
3) March to Putrajaya : Malaysia's New Era is At Hand
However, do these books necessary to publish in Malaysia? Do you think that oversea publishers would not interested to publish these book if there is a huge international market? Come lar.... I think everyone should have known what is Malaysia market compare to global market. And seriously, I think our cartoonist are famous enough that outside publisher would want to do this, they are after all, businessman. If the books publish at oversea, I believe the Children of Malaysia still be able to get a copy of it, if anyone interested, and I strongly believe we will support our local talent as much. Right?

Kok-Tokking After 709 (Part 1)
Today is 11th July 2011, News Strait Times report as such:-
“Our Prime Minister has pledged and called the Malays to uphold the country’s democratic principles.”
But I would like to ask, anybody at all, from the first paragraph, what was he telling us?? Why he only called for the Malays??? What about the Indians, Kadazan, Chinese, blab la bla….all the bumis and non-bumis??? Is he telling us that Malaysia is formed by Malays only??? Please humor me!!!!!
Second paragraph again he said to Malays only, if the Malays united, he will asks the King to dissolved the Parliament for GE13. This is something indirectly he was telling the Malays, “U help me, I help u!!” Provided whatever he promised will be done later.
Third paragraph, he is saying again UMNO and Malaysia only. What about MCA and MIC??
Just by this three paragraph, I would know that it is not the Citizen of Malaysia that is RACISM, it is just these small group of people, and they are using the word RACISM to create hatred between the citizens of Malaysia….NNAAA!!!
